Synopsis: The Empire of Corpses

In the setting of 19th century Europe, Shisha no Teikoku follows John Watson as he is enlisted by the government to become a covert agent. However, Watson finds himself in a world where "Frankensteins" are abundant – former human corpses that are now reengineered with synthetic souls to become laborers and spur industrial advancements.
