Synopsis: Mr. Nietzsche in the convenience store

Matsukoma, a part-time employee of a late-night convenience store, takes the newbie Tomoharu Nii under his wing. Tomoharu, dubbed Nietzsche-sensei, is a university student studying Buddhism. During a heated exchange with an irate customer who insists "Customers are gods," Tomoharu retorts that "God is dead." The manga chronicles Matsukoma and Tomoharu's experiences as part-time workers, with Tomoharu's peculiar behavior and responses repeatedly confounding both his colleagues and customers.
